Anxious Times

Maddie 2008
I thought the weak-end was bad but nothing happened.

But now the not-knowing is making me terribly anxious. I can't rest. I can't relax. I can't sleep.

I'm living on my nerves and now I've started having panic attacks.

I don't know what to do.

I wish Wise-Wilma were here. She'd know what to do.

Maddie you are so wise though.

I have thought of some things you could do to try and help:

1) Cuddle those daughters and grand-buns.
2) Cleaning, a buns cleaning is never done.
3) kiss and sniff our daddy and his pants. Although, I wouldn't tease him today. Getting chased will make you worse.
4) Tuck into some yummy greens. Maddie what is your fav green?
5) Get your mum to give you lots of strokes, if she's really good might make you sleep
6) Last but not least watch the snooker this afternoon!

Hatty

1. I'm doing this. They're all trying to calm me down but my grandbunnies are too young to bunderstand.
2. I don't like cleaning but I have been washing my paws a lot
3. Pah!
4. Greens might give me a runny bum today in the state I'm in
5. Mummy is fussing me and tells me she understands my worries
6. Snooker....???!!!

I only meant cleaning yourself and other bunnies the 2-foots take care of the rest.

You'll have to give snooker a go then. You'll either like it which will make you happy or think it's boring in which case it will send you to sleep.

Our Grandad 2-foot owns a snooker centre, mummy watches a lot of it but always gives me lots of cuddles so I like it to.

Why don't you have a chat with Grandma Bonnie and then put on your big pants and go see Dad again (your Mum may want to put his pants on him as well)!

Well you know, I know how to do CBT-that's Cognitive Bunny Therapy for OCD. I have it as well and I remember how scary it can be. Also if Prozac isn't working Inga might want to start you on Anafranil...

She says the tricycles might take longer to kick in and I need something NOW! Has anybun got any of Diane's-Pan?

You need to learn to sit with your anxiety, Maddie. Tranquilisers are very addictive and won't help with the underlying issues.

Try some other calming things before you hit the Valium. It's really not good for you.

Maddie its Sooty here, when Mum and me feel down we go out and buy a chick flick to cheer us up, do you think that might help?

[info]furrymob wrote:

Chickflick? Mum's got some dead haddock. Will that do??

Mummy always eats chocolate when she feels stressed. The closest thing to chocolate for bunnies has to be dried pineapple.

Or you could try just taking a deep breath...then telling us what's on your mind!!!!!

I'll try to nibble some dried pineapple but I have no appetite today. I'm far too stressed...

Then try my second suggestion and unburdon yourself, once you do it may not seem so bad. a problem shared is a problem halved according to the 2foots.

Re: I think I know....
We're sitting tight and waiting here with our paws crossed but I've tucked Mother up with a sedative to help calm her nerves.

PS I've heard that Austin had a good night and that his mum is collecting him this morning.
