Hatty and Austin

Bentley-Bun
While the Bit of Fluff indoors sits shaking under her Fiddlesticks, it is my fatherly duty to post an update on my young son, Austin.

He went to see Mr Vet today for a fur cut (I'm using this term for Bosley's benefit) and was expected home this evening. However, he's been kept in overnight due to some bleeding from his blood vessels.

His mum has been to see him and Hatty is now with him to keep him company during the night. He's eaten some fresh cut parsley and we don't think there is anything to worry about but some vibes would be appreciated - if not for him, for his poor worried mum. I know from my own experience when I was ill that sometimes it's the humans who suffer more than we do.

Hopefully Austin and Hatty will be back on their journals again tomorrow with an update.

(Cedric - Is this what happened to Dandybun?)

We are keeping up to date on our friends progress and are sure he will be fine.
Especially now he has Hattie at his side.

What happened to Dandy was horrific! The stewpid vet nicked a blood vessel and didn't notice, then sewed him up. In those Far off days, Dandy lived in our indoor condo (before he got the run of the whole burrow (and when the 2-foots looked in on him, there was blood everywhere, and his scro-tum had blown up like a balloon. He was rushed back to the vets who JUST managed to save him. It was after that the 2-foots started taking him instead to see Auntie Francis (the best bunny vet in the world) which of course is who we always see.

We both send our love and well wishes to Austin, Hattie and their 2-foots.

At least Austin is eating - that is a good sign.

We look forward to having an update soon....
