Mother's Shopping

  • May. 9th, 2008 at 10:00 PM
Miss Inga
Mother is quite sad today at the demise of her grandson but I'm both surprised and relieved that she's taken the news better than I thought she would. Her coping mechanism seems to be to throw herself into a flurry of frantic shopping and she's searching online for ... replacement grandbunnies.

She's pinched mum's plastic again and is sitting hunched over the grandhumans' old laptop and nothing at all will distract her in her search. She's been typing 'grandbunnies' into Google UK hoping to be able to buy some online but the links shown are mostly our own.

Poor Mother. I really do need to have a little Daughter-Mother chat with her.....

In the meantime, here are my girls:

Oh Inga, poor you and your family. I hope you are coping well yourself. I lost a 2foot kit myself a few years ago and it is a sad time but you're lucky to have your lovely family around you.

I'm sorry to read you lost a kit. At least I still have my three daughters with me, plus 2 living with Mother, my son next door and my weeding to look forward to. I hope you have nice things in your life too....

Are you in-kit again?

What are human kits like? Mummy and daddy have been talking... and it worries us. Apparently mummy's not going to marry a 40 year old so dad has to hurry up.... these 2-foots are so strange, we don't understand.

Human kits are horrible, my mums kits moved out shortly after i arrived in the burrow. Mum was really pleased, rabbits are much nicer than children apparently. And i can't get into that silver cold box in the fridge to steal things which is a bonus.

I've never met a human kit myself but from what I've heard about them, I'm glad.

There are none here - and mum insists there never will be.

That is very sad news. A big snuggle to you all, and also to the Mummy in waiting who must be very disapointed too.

Auntie P has been very bunderstanding and we've agreed that, if Sascha and I can produce 3 girls together then she'll have one of these. In the meantime Pebbles will live alone as a house-bunny with a nice Corner Cottage cage and playpen.
