At last I'm back online - and properly this time having had my Journal intercepted last night by the grandhumans (whom I've still not met).

The Burrow has been very quiet since Friday but the peace has now ended and it's a full burrow again - in fact tonight it was even fuller than usual because the Big Black Monster Thing slipped in un-noticed by the staff. It thumped its way up the stairz and flopped down beside mummy's hare conditioning machine until she saw it and shoo'ed it out back to where The Thing belongs. It was very cross because while mummy was away, Uncle J deviously got out the lawn-stealing machine and it ate all our long fresh juicy grass from the back lawn.

I have a little sad news to share. Does everybunny remember Bunty, the scraggy wild lionhead bunny and her wild bunny friends who starred in the 'Bunderful Tonight' video on the Bunny Tunes 3 DVD? Mummy went back to Knaresborough hoping to see her on Chewsday but the area where she'd sat with them all at just arm's length away last June was now devoid of all buns. They had all succumbed to the nasty myxi outbreak just weeks after being filmed. I'm glad I've had my jabs but feel very sorry for my wild relatives.


I also have a little more sad news but I can't risk bringing on another depressive episode by announcing it now so will save it for later.

Mother is quite sad today at the demise of her grandson but I'm both surprised and relieved that she's taken the news better than I thought she would. Her coping mechanism seems to be to throw herself into a flurry of frantic shopping and she's searching online for ... replacement grandbunnies.

She's pinched mum's plastic again and is sitting hunched over the grandhumans' old laptop and nothing at all will distract her in her search. She's been typing 'grandbunnies' into Google UK hoping to be able to buy some online but the links shown are mostly our own.

Poor Mother. I really do need to have a little Daughter-Mother chat with her.....
