Against all the odds, my little miracle girl is still here! Even I know that she shouldn't be - she was weak and floppy yesterday and kept resting her head between her paws and mum was very close to making what she calls, a Big Decision for her. Today, she has surprised us all - and she is actually sitting rather than flopped so the nursing is continuing.
I'll write more later - mum is feeling pretty rough today after another night of nursing so I'm letting her head back to her nest-box for a few hours to regain her strength. Poor mum - she's exhausted!
As for me, I'm looking lovingly and proudly towards my Una while Inga, who is now nibbling and drinking a little by herself, sits triumphantly in the fluffy nest she built overnight.
Thank you to everybunny for all your vibes - and please keep them coming because they, or something, are helping my little girl.
Mum says she's never known such a fighting spirit!

4pm Update:
After all the stress and upset of yesterday everybunny here, with the exception of myself, is feeling thoroughly drained and mum's so exhausted after the last 10 days that she's given up with all she meant to do and flopped back into her nestbox (she apologises to anyone expecting an email or an order to be sent today - she's knackered!). She's given my Una some medication and fluids (thank you, Moab) and apart from that, I've hardly seen her.
However, there is no need for words today because this video clip says it all.
So, over to YouTube for today's update:
Who ever could have possibly anticipated such a turnaround?!
But... I'm not going to get too excited this time - my little girl could relapse again but I just had to share my joy after such a sad day yesterday.

6.30pm Update:
I've just noticed that 71 people have viewed the video clip of my little girl in less than 2.5 hours. I am so flattered that so many people have taken such an interest in my famous little daughter. Thank you everybunny/human.

As for my Una, she had more diarrhoea last night and has produced some gunky, smelly mucus which isn't pleasant so we're all looking forward to her first solid poop here, too.
She's had a syringe-feed with more Critical Care and AviPro (where would we be without these valuable potions...) and is now nibbling on some Sunny Greens Summer Garden Dandelion Hay. She's feeding very selectively but mum says she can have whatever she fancies and the more fibre she gets the better for her tummy. I've been allowed to go shopping to buy her some more. I've ordered 12 bags...
I've just ordered more medication for my Una and Inga and there's a HUGE order of AviPro, Critical Care and Recovery arriving tomorrow or Thursday. Now, I might get into a bit of touble over the quantities I've bought there....
On a more positive note, Daddy just showed me the clip of Inga dropping her ball. That was so cute, but then us bunnies just are. :-)
Snuggles,
Gretchen
Keep fighting, many times I've refused to give up on bunnies even the vets weren't hopeful for, and had them pull through to go on for many years.
